The Drexel “Medical Jeopardy” team defended last year’s regional title and advances to the state competition being held Dec. 6 in Hershey, Pa., where they also hope to capture a repeat championship title.
Eight teams from the Southeastern Pennsylvania region participated in the contest, including Crozer-Chester Medical Center in the first round, and Abington Memorial Hospital and Albert Einstein Medical Center in the final round. The Drexel residents are employees of Hahnemann University Hospital.
The ACP’s national Doctor’s Dilemma competition, also known as Medical Jeopardy, pits teams of residents and fellows against each other in a test of medical knowledge. Up to 40 teams of residents from around the nation compete for the coveted title of national champion.
