January 31, 2006 - DREXEL UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MEDICINE NAMED CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR DRUG ABUSE EDUCATION

PHILADELPHIA (January 31, 2007)- Drexel University College of Medicine, in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, has been selected as one of four academic medical sites to serve as national Centers of Excellence for Physician Information by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

January 27 Pediatric AIDS Benefit Concert

Have a wonderful night out at the Pediatric AIDS Benefit Concert on Saturday, January 27, 2007, at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the entertainment will begin at 7. This annual student-run event raises money for the HIV/AIDS clinic at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

November 28, 2006 - Tobacco Settlement Grants Awarded to Researchers
PHILADELPHIA (November 28, 2006) – Drexel University College of Medicine has announced the research projects that will be awarded funding from the College’s portion of Pennsylvania’s tobacco settlement funds.
