 Diversity in Medical Education Minimize

The College of Medicine is firmly committed to producing a diverse population of physicians. Working cooperatively with other faculty and staff of the Office of Student Affairs, the Diversity in Medicine staff provides personal and academic support and a positive learning environment to help minority students realize their professional goals. Through these efforts, the College of Medicine has become an historical leader in the number of minority medical students it trains.

In accordance with this institution's historic commitment, women, students interested in careers as generalist physicians, those who come from Pennsylvania, and those who come from racial populations that are underrepresented in medicine are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
