The twelfth annual Manuel Stamatakis Golf Classic is set for Tuesday, June 18th at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Stamatakis, a trustee of Drexel University and its College of Medicine, hosts the yearly golf outing to raise scholarship funds. The College established a scholarship in his name to benefit medical students with proven academic ability and financial needs.

Drexel University College of Medicine is pleased to announce that Mary Anne Delaney, M.D., has been appointed interim chair of the Department of Psychiatry. Delaney is a professor of psychiatry and vice chair of the department.

Drexel University College of Medicine is pleased to announce that Carol F. Lippa, M.D., has been appointed interim chair of the Department of Neurology. Lippa is a professor of neurology and director of the College’s Memory Disorders Program.

Commencement 2013 is finally here! The years of dedicated studying, clinical rotations, research, papers, and exams will culminate in a two-hour ceremony at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, 260 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, on Friday, May 17th.
