February 6, 2012 - According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. During the month of February, a new heart health story will be posted each week to boost awareness of this disease.

January 30, 2012 - Bryce Templeton, M.D., M.Ed., emeritus professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine, has been awarded the top national award for excellence, leadership and creativity in education from the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

January 11, 2012 - According to the Glaucoma Research Foundation, more than 2 million Americans have glaucoma – a group of eye diseases that gradually steal sight without warning. Vision loss is caused by damage to the optic nerve. This nerve is responsible for carrying images from the eye to the brain.

January 5, 2012 - Students and faculty from Drexel University College of Medicine will be celebrating the 19th annual Pediatric AIDS Benefit Concert (PABC) on February 18th, 2012. The proceeds of this student-run event support the Pediatric AIDS program at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. The event will be held at the Main Building on Drexel University's main campus on 32nd and Chestnut Streets.
