Discovery Day 2008 Poster Information
The CSCO features a Hewlett-Packard DesignJet 5500ps printer, which uses a six-ink system to print photo-quality images and text on rolls up to 42" wide and 100' long. At print speeds up to 89 sq ft/hr, the DesignJet 5500ps can print a 48"-long poster in 10-15 minutes.
Services
The CSCO accepts requests for large format posters to be presented at international, national, regional, and local meetings. Printed on white satin paper with a semi-gloss finish, posters are priced according to size as follows:
Pricing is $6.50 per square foot.
Posters will be printed on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to posters required for upcoming meetings. Although the turnaround time will be dependent on order volume and printing priorities, we generally ask for files 24 hours in advance of printing. However, posters may be printed on the day of receipt and can be printed as you wait for an additional fee. Please note that pricing is based on time of submission of the final version of the poster.
We do accept orders from organizations and institutions outside of Drexel University. Please contact us for more details.
Creating your poster and submitting it for printing
We recommend that you construct your poster with the smaller dimension not exceeding 41.5" to ensure nothing will be cut off from the margins required by the printer. Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop documents are recommended. Please contact Raphael Lukov (215-762-1784) for any further questions or advice or to email your poster. In the event that your poster can not be delivered via email, you may send a disc to the below address or stop by in person with a disc or flash drive.
