Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center

|
Welcome to the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Drexel University College of Medicine! The Drexel CF Center has a rich legacy including being one of the first centers dedicated to the treatment of patients with cystic fibrosis. Over the years, our center has moved from the former Medical College of Pennsylvania to our new home at Drexel University College of Medicine. We continue the same passion and commitment to our patients.
Cystic fibrosis is no longer a pediatric disease, with the mean age of almost 37 years. Adult CF patients have their own unique issues, and our center is fully committed to the specialized care of adult patients. We are staffed by physicians who are trained, adult pulmonologists and deal with special topics including balancing CF treatments with work and family life, family planning, lung transplantation, etc. We will also work with your regular physician to optimize your care for cystic fibrosis. In addition to treating patients, our center is dedicated to the training of health care professionals in the care of cystic fibrosis and performing research to improve the lives of our patients.
If you are new to the area, or it has been a while since you have been seen at a specialized cystic fibrosis center, we invite you to make an appointment with us. We look forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,

Anita Ko, M.D. Medical Director, Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center Drexel University College of Medicine |
