Russell Maulitz, M.D., Ph.D., born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, attended Duke University and graduated with a Medical Degree as well as a Ph.D. in the History of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at George Washington University Hospital in 1975. He is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in medical informatics. He currently resides with his wife in the Philadelphia area. He loves to travel, especially to Italy and France.
