Medical School Courses

Second Year

Second-year medical students are introduced to Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery in the Introduction to Clinical Medicine course. Common problems in diseases of the head and neck are discussed. Clinical workshops are offered for hands-on experience.

Third and Fourth Years

Third- and fourth-year medical students return to Otolaryngology during their surgical rotations. At this time, students learn how to examine the head and neck and evaluate their findings. A three-week mini-elective and a six-week elective are offered during the fourth year.
