Research Programs
The Drexel University Department of Psychiatry has multiple research projects at its various sites. Funded research programs are ongoing in the following areas:
- Treatment of autism and autism spectrum disorders
- Pharmacologic treatment of psychotic and affect disorders throughout the life cycle
- Treatment of anxiety disorders in children and adolescents
- Developmental impact of acute and chronic stress in children and adolescents
- Addiction treatment and rehabilitation effectiveness
- Translational use of neuroimaging techniques
- Neuropsychological impact of chronic illness on children and adolescents
