Cardiac MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging is one of the newest diagnostic tools in the cardiologist's arsenal. Cardiac MRI can produce one centimeter thick slices through the heart and great vessels and display them as a movie, capturing motion of the heart as it contacts and relaxes. This is accomplished without injection of any drug and without the use of X-rays. |
