Respectful, thoughtful and expert healthcare for women
The Drexel Center for Women’s Health, established in 1996, is a multidisciplinary center with the mission to provide comprehensive, collaborative, and compassionate care to women. Our physicians are all faculty members of Drexel University College of Medicine. On-site services include primary care internal medicine. Our commitment to quality care has prompted the Department of Health and Human Services to designate the center a National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health. We were also named in the Philadelphia magazine’s “TopDocs” as Best Women’s Health Center in 2002. Our main location in the Drexel University College of Medicine multi-specialty building has a full range of providers, from Surgery to Dermatology. Radiology services are conveniently located across the street.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 pm. Emergency calls are answered 24 hours a day. All major insurance plans are accepted. We are conveniently located at 219 North Broad Street on the sixth floor, across the street from Hahnemann University Hospital, at Broad and Vine Streets. For directions, click here. Several parking lots are available nearby.
The Center for Women’s Health provides integrated medical care with a deep understanding of the specific health care needs of women. Our medical services are enhanced by the individual attention we give each of our patients.
Every woman is:
- Treated with the respect, attention and compassion that she deserves
- Thoughtfully listened to when expressing concerns and observations
- Allowed and encouraged to participate in the decisions being made to evaluate and treat her conditions.
Our specialty program is:
- The Center for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
