Our office at 1721 Pine Street is the oldest, continuous, Otolaryngology office in the United States; it was established by Dr. George Morrison Coates in the early 20th century. The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine was established in 1995 to provide excellence in the care of diseases of the head and neck. Our practice emphasis is on patient care, patient education, teaching, and research. The department has specialists in a variety of clinical subspecialties, and includes several different centers of excellence. These are: The Voice Center, The Otology and Neurotology Center, and The Facial Plastic Center.
