Research is an integral part of the department and the faculty’s work and includes physicists and radiation biologists. Together we have developed a number of protocols involving:
- brachytherapy procedures
- monoclonal antibody treatment for brain tumors and colorectal cancer
- histone-1
- bone marrow transplantation
- cutaneous T-Cell lymphomas.
There is participation in RTOG, COG, and ECOG clinical trials.
