By Bus

Long Distance
The Greyhound/Trailways bus terminal is at 10th & Filbert Streets. From there, walk ½ block north to Arch Street and take the #48 SEPTA bus (which runs every 10 minutes) west to 15th Street. Walk two blocks north to Race Street. For information call Greyhound at 215-931-4000.

Local
SEPTA serves Philadelphia and it’s PA suburbs. New Jersey Transit (NJT) and the high speed line (PATCO) service New Jersey. All of these lines use Broad Street, which borders Hahnemann University Hospital on the east. By Subway

Hahnemann University Hospital is conveniently located near two SEPTA subway lines. If you’re using the Market-Frankford Elevated Line, get off at the City Hall stop and walk three blocks north on Broad Street to Race Street, or take the Broad Street Line to the Race-Vine Street stop. If you’re riding the Broad Street Line, get off at the Race-Vine stop, which puts you in the heart of the Drexel /Hahnemann University Hospital complex.

By Car

From the West
Take the PA Turnpike east to Valley Forge, Exit #24. Travel east on I-76, (the Schuylkill Expressway) to I-676 east (the Vine Street Expressway). Exit at Broad Street and turn right at the end of the ramp (you can only turn right) onto 15th Street. Turn left onto Vine Street (2nd light). Go up to the 1st light (Broad Street) and make a right. The main entrance to Hahnemann University Hospital will be on your right side. The Outpatient Clinic (219 N. Broad Street, 8th floor) is on the left.

From Northeast New Jersey
Take the NJ Turnpike south to Exit #4. Take Route 73 North to Route 38 West and follow signs to Philadelphia and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Off the bridge, follow signs for I-676 (the Vine Street Expressway). Exit at Broad Street and turn right at the end of the ramp (you can only turn right) onto 15th Street. Turn left onto Vine Street (2nd light). Go up to the 1st light (Broad Street) and make a right. The main entrance to Hahnemann University Hospital will be on your right side. The Outpatient Clinic (219 N. Broad Street, 8th floor) is on the left.

From Southern New Jersey
Take I-295 North or NJ-42 North to the Walt Whitman Bridge. On the bridge, stay in the extreme right hand lane. After toll, bear right and follow signs for I-95 North. From I-95, take I-676 (the Vine Street Expressway) west to the Broad Street Exit. Exit at Broad Street and turn right at the end of the ramp (you can only turn right) onto 15th Street. Turn left onto Vine Street (2nd light). Go up to the 1st light (Broad Street) and make a right. The main entrance to Hahnemann University Hospital will be on your right side. The Outpatient Clinic (219 N. Broad Street, 8th floor) is on the left.

From the South
Take I-95 North to I-676 (the Vine Street Expressway). Exit at Broad Street and turn right at the end of the ramp (you can only turn right) onto 15th Street. Turn left onto Vine Street (2nd light). Go up to the 1st light (Broad Street) and make a right. The main entrance to Hahnemann University Hospital will be on your right side. The Outpatient Clinic (219 N. Broad Street, 8th floor) is on the left.

By Train

From Amtrak’s 30th Street Station (at 30th & Market Streets)
Take any eastbound SEPTA train one stop to Penn Center-Suburban Station (at 16th Street and JFK Blvd.). Walk one block up to 15th Street and make a left. Go two blocks to Race Street and make a right. Go one block to light (Broad Street) and make a left. The Outpatient Clinic (219 N. Broad Street, 8th Floor) is on the right. The main entrance to Hahnemann University Hospital will be on the left just prior to the next light (Vine Street).

From Philadelphia International Airport
If you are traveling by car, follow directions labeled from the South. Otherwise, SEPTA trains run from the airport to Penn Center-Suburban Station (at 16th Street and JFK Blvd.). Walk one block up to 15th Street and make a left. Go two blocks to Race Street and make a right. Go one block to light (Broad Street) and make a left. The Outpatient Clinic (219 N. Broad Street, 8th Floor) is on the right. The main entrance to Hahnemann University Hospital will be on the left just prior to the next light (Vine Street).
