Patient Care

Amanda M. Carré, M.S., has been a board certified genetic counselor since November 2007 and has been in practice at the Drexel Center for Genetics, Fetal and Maternal Medicine since September 2005. Ms. Carré counsels patients on genetic issues, such as family histories of genetic disorders and recurrence risks for familial genetic diseases, and she provides explanations of available prenatal tests and their results, like ultrasounds and serum screens.

As the prenatal diagnosis coordinator, Ms. Carré is responsible for coordinating additional specialist appointments for families with a known fetal anomaly and providing follow-up to both the patient and their referring providers. She sees patients in Center City Philadelphia.
