Patient Care

Dr. Daniel Ringold's main interest is the use of therapeutic endoscopy to manage patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions. He uses endoscopic ultrasound and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) to diagnose and treat non-cancerous and cancerous disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts and pancreas. He also performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and small bowel enteroscopy to diagnose and treat conditions in the esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon.

Research

Dr. Ringold is currently investigating the predictive value of imaging studies that note bowel wall "thickening." Additionally, he is looking at the colonoscopic findings in patients with HIV.

Teaching

Dr. Ringold is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Drexel University College of Medicine.
