Dr. Xiao specializes in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery. He is very experienced in laparoscopic and open liver resection, liver tumor ablation and pancreatic surgery and resection.

He is a United Network for Organ Sharing certified primary living donor liver transplant surgeon and a laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy surgeon. He is an American Society of Transplant Surgeons certified liver, kidney and transplant surgeon. He is also certified by the American Board of Surgery.
