Joyann A. Kroser, M.D., FACP, FACG, FAGA Dr. Kroser is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Lehigh University and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania (Drexel University College of Medicine). She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. Dr. Kroser is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine and provides consultation in general gastroenterology with a focus on gastroesophageal reflux disease, colon cancer screening and irritable bowel syndrome. She has special interests in treating the digestive health of women and the elderly. She has expertise in capsule endoscopy interpretation, colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. She has lectured widely on various gastrointestinal topics and continues to publish clinical papers, textbook chapters and abstracts. She was previously recognized in Philadelphia Magazine as a "Top Doc for the Aging." Dr. Kroser is a past president of the Philadelphia County Medical Society, and is an active member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the American Medical Association. She is a fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. On a personal note, Dr. Kroser is a life-long Philadelphian and a passionate Eagles fan. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and her two daughters, Danielle, 4, and Jessica, 2.
