Biography

Dr. Julian Mesina has an M.Sc. degree from James Cook University of North Queensland, Australia, a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MPH from Drexel University School of Public Health.  Dr. Mesina joined Drexel University College of Medicine in 2002. He lectures on respiratory physiology to medical and graduate students and teaches embryology to graduate students.

His primary responsibility is in the Office of Professional Studies in the Health Sciences, where he is director of the face-to-face and online Master of Laboratory Animal Science programs and the Veterinary Medical Science program. Dr. Mesina is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
