Dr. Katherine Sherif, a board-certified internist, is the chief and clinical director of the Drexel Medicine Center for Women's Health.

Specializing in women's health, Dr. Sherif's areas of clinical expertise include menopause, cardiovascular risk factors, depression, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, the role of omega-3 fatty acids in health and disease, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Dr. Sherif sees patients in Center City Philadelphia.

Teaching

Dr. Sherif is an associate professor in the division of Internal Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. In 2000, she established the country's first academic program for polycystic ovary syndrome and was named co-director of the nationally recognized Center for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
