Dr. Laird Jackson is board certified in internal medicine and is a FACP member, a member of the organizing committee for the American Board of Medical Genetics, a past member and treasurer of ABMG (1980s), founding board of directors and treasurer for the American College of Medical Genetics (1991-97), certified in clinical genetics and clinical cytogenetics, ABMG and FACMG, and a founding member of the board of directors for the International Society of Prenatal Diagnosis (1992-1996).

Dr. Jackson is not seeing patients at this time.

Research

Dr. Jackson is currently associate principal investigator of an NICHD-funded project to demonstrate the clinical application of microarray cytogenetics to prenatal cytogenetic diagnosis.

His interests are in prenatal genetic diagnosis, including development of non-invasive methodologies, microarray cytogenetics technology and genetic pathways in childhood developmental disorders.
