Dr. Coleman, a certified nurse midwife, is the director of nurse-midwifery services and an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Coleman is board certified as a nurse-midwife by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

Research

Dr. Coleman is involved in research regarding the prevention of HIV transmission through human breastmilk.

Teaching

Dr. Coleman lectures on preconceptional care, prenatal care and violence against women. She has a particular interest in adolescent gynecology.
