Biography

Monika Jost, Ph.D. earned an M.S. in microbiology, genetics, and biochemistry and a Ph.D. in biology from Universität des Saarlandes in Germany.

She served as a senior scientist for SymbioTec for five years prior to joining the faculty of the College of Medicine. She now holds the title of assistant professor in the Office of Professional Studies in the Health Sciences, and research assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Jost teaches in the Medical Science Preparatory and the Master of Forensic Science Programs.
