Patient Care

Dr. Henderson is director of the glaucoma service for the Department of Ophthalmology. She specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, a disease of the eye that causes damage to the optic nerve.

Dr. Henderson has been with Drexel University College of Medicine since 2005, and in addition to the services she provides in the clinic, she volunteers her time and medical skills to the Ophthalmology Outreach Program – a community service project (that she developed and oversees) that provides free vision screening services to underprivileged citizens in inner-city Philadelphia.

Dr. Henderson is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Teaching

Dr. Henderson is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Drexel University College of Medicine. She is also the Medical Education Pathway director and director of the glaucoma service for the Department of Ophthalmology.
