Biography

Dr. Rose Giordano, a Philadelphia native, completed her undergraduate education at MCP Hahnemann University and earned her doctorate at the University of California, Davis.  During her years as a postdoctoral scholar, she studied the effects of processed tomatoes on brachial artery vasodilatation and C-reactive protein in overweight and obese adults. 

Over the past five years, Dr. Giordano has guest lectured on the physiological effects of exercise, nutrition and athletic performance and other health related topics.  In addition, she has taught various nutrition and physiology-based courses at California local colleges and universities.

Presently, Dr. Giordano provides students in the Interdepartmental Medical Science program with additional academic support in both the Medical Physiology and Medical Nutrition courses at the Sacramento Center for Graduate Studies.
