The Office of Educational Affairs facilitates and coordinates the development, implementation, and assessment of the four-year medical school curriculum. The faculty and staff in this division provide the support services for medical students and for the faculty who are responsible for and contribute to the curriculum.

Admissions
The Office of Admissions processes applications to the M.D. program at Drexel University College of Medicine. The office coordinates the review and interview processes and communicates with prospective applicants and other interested individuals. The office coordinates the College of Medicine's outreach to university campuses, organizes and runs on-campus events, and updates the admissions website.

Office of Assessment and Evaluation
The Office of Assessment and Evaluation is responsible for scoring all objective first and second year exams, administering third and fourth year clerkships, and maintaining a centralized, comprehensive database of academic data. The office maintains USMLE scores and is a liaison with the national USMLA board as well as the AAMC CURRMIT manager for the College of Medicine.
The Office also collects feedback from students about exams, courses, and clerkships, and uses the data for reports and to control and improve the quality of the curriculum.

Division of Clinical Education
The Division of Clinical Education is responsible for the overall coordination of the 3rd and 4th years of medical school, including scheduling and evaluation of medical student rotations. The office also receives and reviews all visiting student applications for 4th year electives.
In addition, the office is responsible for maintaining the relationships and affiliation agreements with the medical school clinical sites and for the oversight of all health, surveillance, background and compliance documentation during all four years of medical school.

Clinical Skills and Clinical Skills Assessment
This office coordinates teaching and assessment of clinical skills across the four years of medical school and ensures a high quality teaching and assessment throughout the educational curriculum.
This office is responsible for the multistation Standardized Patient Program, which residency programs throughout the Delaware Valley utilize. This office also manages the Barbara Chick Clinical Education and Assessment Laboratory.

Office of Community Experience
The mission of the Office of Community Experience is to integrate meaningful community service and reflective learning to prepare medical students to address socioeconomic determinants of disease and become community-responsive physicians. To meet these goals, the Office of Community Experience coordinates first-year courses on community health, community health electives for fourth-year medical students, longitudinal health advocacy projects, the Drexel Bridging the Gaps Community Health Internship Program, and the Health Outreach Project Clinics and other volunteer opportunities.

Medical Education Simulation Center
The goals for the Medical Education Simulation Center are to better educate our students and residents, improve the quality of patient care, and reduce the number of medical errors; enhance communication and working relationships between physicians and all members of the healthcare team utilizing materials, computer systems and virtual reality; promote the development of the most realistic simulators and simulated environments to assist in training the healthcare providers of the future; and foster interaction between physicians and scientists in the College of Medicine, the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, and the College of Information Science and Technology.

Student Affairs
The Office of Student Affairs provides guidance, support and administrative assistance to all students as they progress through medical school. Our contact with each student begins the summer prior to the first year and continues beyond graduation. The Associate Deans and Staff in the Office of Student Affairs serve as liaisons to faculty and administration. They provide academic advising, personal counseling, career advising and coordination of the residency application. The Office also provides information and support for student organizations and meets regularly with class and SGA officers. The Office coordinates the many milestone events including Orientation, the White Coat Ceremony, Match Day, and Commencement.
Career Development Center
The Career Development Center provides individual career counseling, support and resources to graduate, medical and post-baccalaureate students in the College of Medicine. The Center coordinates the residency application process and NRMP matching process. Additionally, a wide range of services are provided, including resume and cv writing preparation and review, interview preparation, resources for job search as well as professional and career development programs and workshops.

Office of Diversity in Medicine
The faculty and staff in the Office of Diversity in Medicine work to enhance and support the College's diversity mission in regards to the student body, student groups, admissions processes, school policies and curricular issues. The Associate Dean for Diversity and the Program Coordinator for Diversity participate in recruitment activities at high schools, colleges and post-baccalaureate programs. Many programs are in place for advocacy and support of current students who are under-represented in Medicine, including both traditional minority students as well as disadvantaged and rural students. The office coordinates special events and medical student activities within the College of Medicine and in the community.

Office of Student Wellbeing
The Office of Student Wellbeing provides academic support services, confidential counseling and student wellness programming for the purpose of supporting students in all aspects of their lives as they pursue their academic and life goals. Confidential individual and group counseling along with therapeutic care is available to all students. Students may also seek assistance identifying their learning styles, and/or analyzing their study skills and test taking techniques. The office organizes individual and group tutoring programs.

Technology in Medical Education
This office provides support to faculty, students, and administration of the College of Medicine for the implementation and application of information resources and technology. It provides leadership concerning the use of technology in the educational and research activities of the College of Medicine, oversees the WebCampus website, and serves as a liaison for the faculty, students, and administration of the College of Medicine with the leadership of the University's Information Resources and Technology Department.
