You are invited to participate in a Biomedical Career Options Workshop that is being hosted by the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine with the support of the Offices of Professional Development and Biomedical Graduate and Postgraduate Studies.

The workshop will be held on Friday, September 10th from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at Geary Auditorium B, New College Building, 245 N. 15th St., Philadelphia.

Speakers from a variety of biomedical careers who are accomplished leaders in their respective professions will share their experiences and speak on their professions to Drexel students and postdoctoral fellows.  The workshop is organized in two sessions each followed by a panel discussion where attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the speakers to ask questions and discuss.  Lunch will be provided for speakers and attendees and will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room, 3rd Floor, NCB where speakers and attendees can mingle and talk further about their interests.

Please register for this free event by sending an email with your name and department to Carolann.Imbesi@DrexelMed.edu to confirm your attendance no later than July 31, 2010. Though this event has been planned with the goal of introducing graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to career options in the Biomedical Sciences interested Drexel faculty and staff members are welcome to attend.
