Family, Community and Preventive Medicine

The Department of Family Medicine, founded in 1992, emphasizes teaching, patient care and clinical research to fill the growing need for knowledgeable generalists. Our emphasis in education is clinical problem solving. Medical technology changes rapidly but basic clinical problem-solving skills are used throughout the family physician's career.

Family Medicine has offices and programs throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as on our own Drexel University College of Medicine campuses.
