Here are several microscopy systems available for use at APIL. These include:

  • Aperio ScanScope XT digital slide scanner with Spectrum Plus pathology PACS
  • Olympus BX61 Deconvolution Fluorescence Microscope equipped with DAPI, FITC, TRITC, and TXRED filters, and a Hamamatsu ORCA-ER CCD camera. The system is operated by Slidebook running on a G5 PowerPC Mac.
  • Olympus BX60 Widefield Fluorescence Microscope
  • Automated Cellular Imaging System (ACIS) Immunohistochemistry analyzer from Chromavision (Zeiss)
