Psychiatry Research Programs

 

The Drexel University College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry has multiple research projects at its various sites. Funded research programs are ongoing in the following areas:
  • Treatment of autism and autism spectrum disorders
  • Pharmacologic treatment of psychotic and affect disorders throughout the life cycle
  • Treatment of anxiety disorders in children and adolescents
  • Developmental impact of acute and chronic stress in children and adolescents
  • Addiction treatment and rehabilitation effectiveness
  • Translational use of neuroimaging techniques
  • Neuropsychological impact of chronic illness on children and adolescents
