Your WOMAN ONE donations fund scholarships for women studying at the College of Medicine. When they become physicians, WOMAN ONE scholars practice medicine in underserved areas of America. As a result, hundreds of thousands, even millions, of people will be introduced to a new world of hope and health.
The Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® Program for Women is the nation's only in-depth program focused on preparing senior women faculty at schools of medicine, dentistry and public health for institutional leadership positions. Tuition covers only a portion of overall program costs. Gifts provide funding for ELAM’s educational program, scholarly research and publications, alumnae community building, and post-program development.
