Vision 2020 is a campaign to make equality a national priority through shared leadership among women and men.
Woman One
The Woman One program honors annually a woman of outstanding leadership and raises medical scholarships for talented under-represented minority women at Drexel University College of Medicine.
Marion Spencer Fay Award
Marion Spencer Fay, Ph.D., was dean and president of Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania from 1946 to 1963. The National Board for Women in Medicine established an award in her name in 1963 to recognize her pioneering leadership.
Sex and Gender Research Database
The Institute promotes interdisciplinary sex and gender research in both basic and clinical sciences, and encourages faculty and students to develop research protocols that will elucidate sex differences in biologic processes and gender differences in the psychosociocultural factors affecting health and disease. This is a searchable database where you can find faculty interested in sex and gender research. You can also submit your own profile so others can find your research.
Conversations About Women's Health
The Institute's outreach efforts to underserved communities include these free, interactive programs where expert panelists, usually physicians, provide information on a wide range of health topics.
