Philadelphia, PA (June 27, 2012) - Internationally recognized clinician in pediatric diseases Dr. Daniel V. Schidlow has been appointed Walter H. and Leonore Annenberg Dean and senior vice president of medical affairs at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Schidlow will assume the role from his current position as interim dean and senior vice president.

(Somers Point, NJ – June 18, 2012) – Drexel University College of Medicine and Shore Medical Center have signed an affiliation agreement to develop and implement a clinical education program. Beginning in July 2012, fourth-year students from Drexel University College of Medicine will have the opportunity to do one-month elective rotations at Shore.

Philadelphia, PA (June 7, 2012) – Top infectious disease research scientists from across the country and around the world, including a Nobel Prize winner, will gather in Philadelphia later this month when Drexel University College of Medicine hosts the 2012 International Symposium on Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease. The symposium will be held June 19-21 in the New College Building (15th & Vine Streets) in Geary Auditorium B.

Drexel University College of Medicine congratulates all of our recent graduates. The 2012 commencement ceremony was held May 18th at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. A total of 454 M.D., Ph.D., and various master's degrees students graduated in front of their proud family and friends.
