The College of Medicine newsletter published 10 times a year for students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the College, highlighting innovations in research, clinical practice, and education; key events; and faculty arrivals and accomplishments. The NewsPager includes alumni notes; calendar of events; and columns by the dean and chief compliance officer. The legacy of two venerable medical schools was almost lost to bankruptcy before Drexel University came to the rescue in 1998. This report records the events and decisions leading to the creation of Drexel University College of Medicine and shows what “the oldest new medical school” has achieved in the past decade.
