Woman One Award and D. Walter Cohen Scholarship

Your donations to the Woman One program will fund scholarships for underrepresented students at the College of Medicine. When they become physicians, Woman One scholars practice medicine in underserved areas of America. As a result, hundreds of thousands, even millions, of people will be introduced to a new world of hope and health.

The Woman One program created the D. Walter Cohen Shared Leadership Scholarship to honor Dr. Cohen's role in founding Woman One and his commitment to shared leadership among women and men, while also addressing the problem of declining applications from underrepresented populations in medicine.

Lynn H. Yeakel, founder and inspiring leader of VisionForward, passed away January 13, 2022.
