Discovery Day was held on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at the Queen Lane Campus. The event showcased research posters on topics as diverse as malaria, HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, cancer, cardiology, spinal cord injury and repair, behavioral neurobiology, and many more.
The featured speaker was Gregory Petsko, D. Phil., who presented the lecture “Pharmacological Chaperones: Protein Stabilization as a Therapeutic Approach for the Treatment of Protein Conformational Diseases.”
