Since it was established by Barbara Schindler, M.D., in 1991, the Caring Together Program, a sponsored program of the Department of Psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine, has been dedicated to providing a new life without substance abuse for women and their children. Currently located at 4700 Wissahickon Avenue (Wissahickon and Route 1/the Roosevelt Boulevard), Caring Together continues this tradition into the new millennium, providing a high standard of outpatient treatment and care for women with addictions and their children.
