Dr. Dana Farabaugh

You can rely on the obstetricians and nurse midwives of our Drexel Obstetrics and Gynecology practice for comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery and after your baby is born. We are committed to making your pregnancy and birth experience a positive one. We'll guide you with advice on nutrition and exercise, and help to manage any related conditions that you experience. You and a partner will be encouraged to participate in our childbirth classes so that you'll know what to expect during the birth and what your options are. If you wish, we can help you develop a birth plan, outlining your choices for the use medication, monitoring and other procedures during labor and delivery.

Pregnancy Services Offered

High Risk Pregnancy Consultation
If you have been told that your pregnancy is considered high risk, you undoubtedly have some concerns. Our perinatologists identify any problems early, avoid complications, and ensure that you and your baby have the best outcome possible. They use their expertise to provide personalized care and combine it with advanced monitoring technology and sophisticated treatments.

Prenatal Care
At all visits, your general health and your baby's growth and development will be carefully monitored. During early pregnancy, you will be offered the opportunity to have screening studies to evaluate the fetus, such as an early risk assessment, or if over age 35, a chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
