Travel Health

International travelers are often exposed to parasitic, viral and bacterial diseases that are uncommon in the United States. In addition, changes in food, water, climate and altitude can cause illness in the traveler. However, with proper precautions you should be able to enjoy your trip in good health.

The proper immunizations and preventive measures are important. At the Drexel University College of Medicine TravelHealth Center, we provide immunizations, and up-to-date information on health conditions and immunizations worldwide. Personalized advice for your travel schedule allows you to take the most effective precautions to assure your good health during your travels.

Our physicians are also available to diagnose and treat infectious or tropical diseases acquired during travel.

We currently offer Travel Health appointments on Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm and on Thursday mornings from 9-11am. Patients are seen by appointment only. Please call 215-762-6655 to schedule an appointment. Vaccine prices and other information are available on our voice mail message.
