About Drexel Neurology
The Department of Neurology at Drexel University College of Medicine strives to improve the lives of those affected by neurological disorders by offering comprehensive evaluation and world-class medical attention. Patients from around the globe come to our Philadelphia facilities to receive consultations and advanced treatments by nationally and internationally distinguished neurologists.
We are involved in numerous clinical trials and programs which we hope will enhance knowledge in the field of neurology and yield novel treatments. The department consists of doctors, scientists, and technicians who work together. This integrative approach collectively advances the art and science of neurology and provides meaningful new therapies for our patients. The neurology department enjoys collegial interaction with the Departments of Neuroscience, Cardiology, Radiology, Biomedical Engineering, Anesthesiology, and Pharmacology to name a few. Additionally, the department collaborates with scientist, researchers, and doctors from numerous prestigious institutions in Philadelphia and all over the world.
Our neurology physicians and scientists have authored textbooks, published journal papers, or spoken at national and international conferences. We have chosen to impart our expertise in clinical care and research through rigorous training programs for medical students, neurology residents and postdoctoral fellows.
