Nurse-midwives have been a part of Drexel Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1986. Nurse-midwives are registered nurses who have completed graduate-level training in midwifery and passed a national certification exam. Most have earned a bachelor’s degree and more than 80 percent hold a master’s degree or higher.
