Welcome to the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Drexel University College of Medicine! The center has a rich legacy since its founding at the former Medical College of Pennsylvania as one of the first centers dedicated to the treatment of patients with cystic fibrosis. We continue the same passion and commitment to our patients today.

With a mean age of almost 37 years, cystic fibrosis is no longer a pediatric disease. Adult CF patients have their own unique issues, and our center is staffed by trained pulmonologists fully committed to the specialized care of adult patients. We deal with special topics including balancing CF treatments with work and family life, and family planning.  We will also work with your regular physician to optimize your care for cystic fibrosis. In addition to treating patients, our center is dedicated to the training of healthcare professionals in the care of cystic fibrosis and performing research to improve the lives of our patients.
