Brand Identity

Introduction

This manual outlines specific standards for use of the Drexel University College of Medicine name, logo, and seal, and the Drexel dragon symbol. The graphic elements and guidelines were developed through the Drexel University College of Medicine Communications Department, together with the Office of the Dean, the University Relations Department of Drexel University, the Office of the General Counsel, and the College of Medicine Board of Trustees.

All individuals who develop communications and marketing materials that represent Drexel University College of Medicine have a responsibility and an obligation to follow these guidelines for their materials (see Marketing, Advertising and Promotional Materials Policy). The consistent graphic appearance of Drexel University College of Medicine publications, correspondence, advertising, signs, and other materials contributes to a strong visual image that is clearly and easily identifiable as Drexel University College of Medicine. It is also important to use the logos and disclaimers correctly for legal reasons.

Our commitment to excellence and consistency in design for both internal and external audiences will reinforce our identity with the healthcare community and the surrounding geographical area.

Thank you for your cooperation and your support of our efforts to continue building a coordinated and consistent brand identity for Drexel University College of Medicine.
