Q. What is the Compliance Program and why does it exist?

A. The Corporate Compliance Program is a College of Medicine program designed to ensure regulatory compliance as everyone works to satisfy the the College's nonprofit teaching, research and healthcare delivery missions.

Q. What are the functions of the Corporate Compliance Office and staff?

A. The staff of the Corporate Compliance Office manage the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Program, providing the following services:

  • Training
  • Education
  • Regulatory research
  • Auditing, monitoring and investigations
  • Coding analysis
  • Encounter form review
  • Master file index review
  • Review of system edits
  • Screening for federal program exclusion
