Severe Weather Policy

It is the policy of Drexel University Physicians® − the clinical practices of Drexel University College of Medicine − that the practices remain open and maintain normal business hours regardless of weather, unless the state or local authorities declare a state of emergency.

Therefore, if you are employed in a clinical practice, you are expected to report for work unless there is a declared emergency.

All other employees of the College of Medicine may call 215-762-UNIV (8648) for closing information, or listen for the school code on radio station KYW-1060 (AM). The code is 213.

Student Information
First- and 2nd-year medical students, Biomedical Graduate Studies students, and IMS/MMS/MSP students can listen for the school code on radio station KYW-1060 (AM). The code is 213.

Note that the school closing number does not apply to 3rd- and 4th-year medical students in clinical rotations.
