Linda (Lyn) Weisbein R.N., B.A., CDE, a certified diabetes educator and clinical nurse specialist, is the director of the diabetes education program at Drexel University College of Medicine and has been practicing as an R.N. for more than 20 years.

Weisbein practices as a diabetes nurse educator in the outpatient office of Drexel Endocrinology in Center City. Patients wishing to arrange for an office visit with Weisbein must be an established patient of Drexel Endocrinology.

In addition to instructing individual patients in diabetes self-management, Wesibein teaches monthly classes in basic diabetes and nutrition for patients, and is also the facilitator of the monthly diabetes support group sponsored by Drexel Endocrinology.
 
Weisbein instructs physicians, residents, nurses, and medical students on diabetes management protocol in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and is also the diabetes nurse educator for Hahnemann University Hospital.
