Kristan Stengel joined the ELAM staff as Communications Analyst in June 2010, where she will create and implement the program’s communications plan and work in editorial and print production, on-line content, media placement, social networking, and other communications tools. 

Kristan’s varied background includes a Bachelor’s degree in English (Bethany College, WV) and a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies (College of Charleston, where she also taught).  Prior to coming to ELAM, she was Director of Marketing and Communications at the Lancaster County Conservancy, a nonprofit community-based organization.
