"It just dawned on me that it's been over a year since I was donning scrubs and watching some fascinating surgeries at Drexel. At the time, I was still on the fence about wanting to pursue medicine as a career, given that I was behind in my prerequisites and would be several years out from applying to med school. The experience that I had at Drexel, though, made me sure that I want to be a physician.
I've just started a post-baccalaureate at the University of Miami and am a year away from starting the application process. I also, perhaps unsurprisingly, have been thinking nonstop about becoming a surgeon. I want to thank you again for glvlng me the experience that has perhaps done the most to finalize my decision to enter medicine."
