Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care Medicine

Offered in conjunction with Hahnemann University Hospital, the fellowship curriculum emphasizes clinical education in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine in the first and third years, and basic science or clinical research in the second year. Research experiences include molecular biology of asthma, critical care outcomes, sarcoidosis, cystic fibrosis, physiology, and interventional pulmonology. Specialty experiences include cystic fibrosis, sarcoidosis, tuberculosis and interventional bronchoscopy. A fourth year in sleep medicine is available.
